Requirements
Must:
- Over 5 years of professional experience in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or site reliability engineering
- Proven expertise in architecting and managing Azure environments for web and data platforms such as Azure Web Apps, Azure SQL Database, Azure Synapse Analytics, Front Door, and CosmosDB
- Hands-on experience in developing Infrastructure as Code solutions, specifically using Azure Bicep (experience with ARM or Terraform is also acceptable)
- Comprehensive understanding of security best practices in Azure, including configuring policies and utilizing Azure Defender for Cloud
- In-depth experience in developing CI/CD pipelines, preferably utilizing Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions with YAML
- Significant experience in integrating and automating with version control (Git) and managing cloud resources
- Experience in operationalizing and managing Azure Virtual Desktop environments (preferred)
- Familiarity with data platform operations including Azure Synapse, Data Factory, and Databricks, or similar technologies (preferred)
- Experience in creating secure and efficient networking and identity solutions in Azure such as Private Endpoints, VNETs, NSGs, Entra, and RBAC (preferred)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation
- Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers, nurturing a culture of cloud and DevOps excellence
Responsibilities
- Architect and operationalize clinical data registry platforms on Azure
- Lead technical initiatives to ensure secure, reliable management of healthcare data
- Collaborate with product teams and cross-disciplinary groups to deliver cutting-edge cloud solutions
- Automate, integrate, and optimize Azure environments for secure and dependable deployments
- Promote best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps within the team
- Support and upskill teammates to enhance overall team capabilities
- Drive innovation and enhance patient outcomes through effective use of technology
