Requirements
Must:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support, help desk, or technical assistance
- Basic experience in supporting end users within a business setting
- Understanding of Windows OS and Google Workspace
- Fundamental networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Familiarity with IT security and PII/data privacy regulations
- Experience using MDM tools and remote support platforms
- Proficiency with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, or similar)
- Excellent communication abilities for interacting with both technical and non-technical staff
- Customer-oriented approach with professionalism and confidentiality
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and pay attention to detail
- Capacity to work independently in a dynamic environment
Responsibilities
- Act as the initial point of contact for IT support requests from staff and administrative teams
- Diagnose and remedy basic hardware, software, network, and device problems (PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers)
- Assist in the setup and maintenance of business systems, mobile devices, and surveillance technology
- Manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions according to security protocols
- Record, track, and resolve support tickets in the IT service management system
- Install, configure, and update hardware, software, and peripherals
- Uphold data privacy and PII compliance standards during daily operations
- Collaborate with vendors or IT partners for escalated issues and system upgrades
- Keep an accurate inventory of IT assets (devices, equipment, and peripherals)
- Provide both on-site and remote support, including occasional after-hours assistance
