Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) within the automotive sector
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
- General understanding of the automotive service process
- Capability to oversee multiple projects across various locations simultaneously
- Eagerness to work in a collaborative, cross-functional setting
- Proficient in working alongside engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and suppliers
- Experience in a manufacturing or production environment is advantageous
- Capacity to stand, sit, or walk for 8-10 hours daily
- Ability to communicate effectively through phone and email
- Competence in reading and interpreting documents
- Capability to perform duties in an office environment that may have varying noise levels and temperature
- Willingness to travel 10-20% of the time
Responsibilities
- Implement existing serviceability standards for ADAS and establish new ones as necessary
- Collaborate with design teams to ensure serviceability criteria are fulfilled
- Monitor and provide key serviceability metrics during multiple product launches and enhance them throughout the vehicles lifespan
- Define the service strategy for ADAS components and sub-assemblies, focusing on effective part functionality post-replacement
- Educate downstream teams on ADAS usage and proper repair processes related to ADAS
- Represent downstream teams concerns to upstream teams when addressing serviceability issues
- Partner with diagnostic engineering to design and validate service protocols as needed during the product lifecycle
- Ensure that engineering field action repair instructions are consistently executed by service technicians
