Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science (Masters preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development for real-time embedded C systems
- Proficient in advanced embedded software methodologies using C programming
- Experience with version control processes and tools (GitFlow, GitLab)
- Capable of writing test scripts using scripting languages (Python)
- Familiar with software build processes and maintenance of build scripts (SCons preferred, CMake, Makefile)
- Strong foundation in real-time software component design and testing
Responsibilities
- Define, design, implement, and test low-level software for power electronics, both on bare metal and RTOS
- Address and clarify ambiguities in requirements, specifications, and designs
- Design and establish interfaces between application software and firmware
- Create, develop, implement, and test multicore interfaces and applications
- Develop software architectures that are timing-critical and multicore
- Create efficient, elegant real-time software components and interfaces
- Formulate methodologies and implementations for software component testing to ensure release readiness
- Collaborate with hardware and debugging tools at both bench and HIL levels to validate software functionality
- Design software compliant with ISO26262 standards
- Document requirements, designs, and test procedures along with results
