Requirements
Must:
- In-depth knowledge of embedded software development principles and strong proficiency in C programming.
- Demonstrated experience with version control systems, including GitFlow and GitLab.
- Competence in developing and utilizing scripting languages, such as Python, for automation and testing purposes.
- Familiarity with software build systems and the ability to work with build scripts like Bazel (preferred), CMake, and Makefile.
- Strong understanding of real-time software concepts and testing methodologies.
- Proven ability to independently design, implement, and validate embedded software modules.
- Experience in debugging embedded systems using standard tools.
- Self-motivated individual with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science (Masters degree preferred).
- Over 2 years of hands-on experience in developing real-time embedded C systems.
Responsibilities
- Contribute comprehensively to the specification, design, implementation, and rigorous testing of low-level software (both bare metal and RTOS) for a range of power electronics applications.
- Independently tackle and resolve technical challenges and ambiguities in design and requirements.
- Design and implement clear and efficient interfaces between various software components.
- Assist in the development and testing of multicore applications for enhanced performance.
- Create robust and efficient real-time software components and their interfaces.
- Execute comprehensive testing of software components to ensure their stability and reliability.
- Work collaboratively with hardware engineers and utilize debugging tools to validate software functionality.
- Develop and maintain thorough documentation for all software projects.
