Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience collaborating with General Contractors and Facilities on construction projects for manufacturing facilities or data center expansions
- In-depth knowledge of structured cabling, standards related to AV and telecom, and blueprints for both office and industrial settings
- Over 8 years of extensive experience managing complex IT infrastructure projects within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Strong track record of leading large-scale infrastructure initiatives that connect plant floor systems and enterprise IT
- Experienced in the implementation and updates of enterprise network solutions, including multi-site connectivity and Factory LAN/WLAN
- Demonstrated ability to lead the setup and refresh of enterprise server, data, and backup mechanisms in manufacturing settings
- Profound understanding of cloud computing concepts, migration approaches, and deployment experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform)
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Smartsheet, Jira, and Google Suite
Responsibilities
- Formulate, execute, and support program initiatives that align with organizational goals
- Facilitate effective communication across all tiers, translating technical discussions between manufacturing personnel, engineers, subject matter experts, and senior management
- Establish the program charter, defining roles, responsibilities, tasks, milestones, budgetary requirements, and success metrics for each initiative
- Create estimates and comprehensive plans to oversee the complete program execution, ensuring coherence with production timelines and deployment schedules
- Accurately gather manufacturing and business requirements to ensure project success
- Coordinate cross-functional planning sessions to align design and actions among diverse teams, including ME Engineers, Network Engineers, SRE DevOps, Facilities Designers, and LV AEOR Designers
- Employ disciplined project management methodologies to outline project scope, develop plans, and execute sub-projects while adhering to guidelines and timelines
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to navigate and resolve challenges
- Craft thorough risk management strategies to guarantee on-time project delivery, testing, and commissioning with no disruption to business operations
