Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, automotive engineering, materials engineering, or a similar field.
- Over 5 years of experience with road simulation 329 rig vehicle testing and drive file development.
- Proficiency in MTS RPC Pro or MTS Connect software.
- More than 1 year of experience in durability data collection.
- Strong understanding of accelerated fatigue testing methodologies.
- Familiarity with nCode or comparable analysis tools (e.g., FEMFAT, HyperWorks) for load and fatigue life calculations of body, chassis, and suspension components is highly desirable.
- Experience in MATLAB/Simulink, Python, or other programming languages is a plus.
- Established history of problem-solving and conducting independent root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and relationship-building abilities.
- Capacity to excel in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Genuine enthusiasm for our mission and a dedication to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
- Willingness to travel locally to test suppliers and proving grounds.
- Minimum age requirement of 21.
- Clean driving record with no suspensions or revocations of drivers license in the last 3-5 years.
- Absence of drug or alcohol-related driving incidents in the past 3 years.
- No more than one serious moving violation in the previous 3 years.
- Possession of a valid drivers license in the state of residence where driving or operating a vehicle will occur.
- Subject to ongoing Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Conduct durability testing and gather data.
- Set up and manage 329 vehicle rig testing operations.
- Create comprehensive test reports and presentations.
- Oversee multiple testing and data collection initiatives.
- Assist in CAE correlation efforts.
