Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Proven experience as a Software Engineer or in a similar capacity, demonstrating a solid history of working with large data sets and constructing analytical data pipelines
- Proficiency in data visualization tools like Hex and Streamlit, with the capability to design intricate and interactive visualizations
- Advanced SQL proficiency with a background in querying, manipulating, and analyzing substantial datasets
- Strong Python skills for data analysis, scripting, and automation tasks
- Experience with Databricks for managing and interpreting big data
- Familiarity with AWS cloud services for data storage, processing, and analytical tasks
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the aptitude to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication skills, able to articulate complex technical ideas and data-driven insights to non-technical audiences
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational skills and a commitment to adhering to best practices and maintaining high standards
Responsibilities
- Design and create engaging and interactive data visualizations using tools like Tableau, Hex, and Streamlit to enhance understanding and facilitate decision-making
- Employ advanced SQL techniques to efficiently query, manipulate, and oversee data, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of analytical results
- Utilize AWS cloud services to construct, maintain, and optimize data analytics solutions, focusing on scalability and performance
- Collaborate with the team to seamlessly integrate data analytics processes into the Databricks environment, which includes developing notebooks and workflows
- Engage with business stakeholders and analysts to comprehend analytical needs and provide customized solutions that fulfill their requirements
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that aid informed business choices
- Design, create, enhance, and manage data pipelines to automate data transformation and ensure data availability in reporting tables
- Adhere to industry best practices and standards for data engineering, including data governance, security, and comprehensive documentation
- Craft narratives around data insights to effectively relay findings and suggestions to non-technical stakeholders
- Exhibit strong organizational skills in managing multiple projects, adhering to deadlines, and delivering high-caliber results
