Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Over 7 years of experience as an IT Engineer, specializing in the deployment and administration of enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Proficient, hands-on expertise with Slack Enterprise Grid administration, configuration, and API functionality.
- Skilled in scripting or automation tools relevant to enterprise platforms (e.g., Python, PowerShell, workflow builders).
- Strong knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), SSO (SAML/OAuth), and data security principles in cloud environments.
- Demonstrated capacity to transform business requirements into concrete, secure, and scalable technical solutions.
- Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a successful track record of resolving complex, production-critical system challenges.
- Relevant vendor certifications (e.g., Slack Certified Admin/Developer).
- Familiarity with the configuration and integration of other productivity tools (Box, Figma, UiPath).
- Experience with complex network environments and integration with cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform).
Responsibilities
- Spearhead the hands-on configuration and rollout of intricate solutions within Slack (e.g., custom workflows, channel settings, security features) and other designated platforms (Box, Figma, Lucidchart, UiPath, Everbridge).
- Establish and uphold technical standards and configuration policies for all owned platforms, ensuring consistency and the overall health of systems across the Enterprise.
- Serve as the Tier 3 escalation point for platform-related issues, conducting in-depth analysis, root cause identification, and the implementation of lasting engineering solutions to enhance reliability and performance.
- Drive the technical execution of platform development initiatives, translating business needs into comprehensive engineering specifications and production-ready rollouts (KTO work).
- Execute and sustain integrations between Slack and other enterprise applications (e.g., monitoring tools, HR systems, ticketing systems), ensuring data integrity and dependable automated processes.
- Utilize platform APIs to develop scalable automation and tailor-made solutions that enhance business processes and user productivity.
- Collaborate closely with security teams to implement and audit technical security measures, access models, data loss prevention (DLP) configurations, and data residency settings.
- Provide technical insights and feasibility assessments to guide the platform roadmap and strategy, ensuring that planned features align with operational stability and security requirements.
- Act as the technical lead for platform-related initiatives, overseeing the configuration, testing, documentation, and successful introduction into production settings.
- Support the Platform Owner/Manager in engaging with technical vendors, evaluating new features, managing pilot programs, and overseeing technical capacity planning.
- Guarantee that platform configurations and access models are technically sound and compliant for collaborative efforts with joint venture partners.
- Apply senior-level engineering rigor and technical governance to configurations, security, and minor development projects for secondary platforms, including Box, Figma, Lucidchart, UiPath, and Everbridge.
