Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field
- At least 3 years of system engineering experience
- Expertise in requirements management and agile project management tools (preferably Jira and Confluence)
- Strong skills in DFMEA, functional safety analysis, and other systems engineering methodologies
- Experience with data analysis languages and AI tools in daily tasks
- Familiarity with developing EV charging products or significant knowledge of the EV charging sector (preferred)
- Experience with UL/IEEE/SAE standards (preferred)
- Background in systems engineering within electric vehicle charging or renewable energy (preferred)
- Experience with high-voltage systems (preferred)
- Proficient in data analysis platforms like Databricks (preferred)
- Experience integrating complex systems with different communication protocols (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Manage essential electrical sub-systems and functionalities in new DC high power charging products
- Lead the delivery of electrical hardware and charging functionalities by facilitating collaboration among hardware and software teams
- Develop requirements and coordinate approvals across various teams including vehicle, cloud, and mobile
- Contribute to the architectural development and electrical system design for all charging products
- Assess and analyze design impacts of alternative designs or new components and vendors
- Work with validation teams to create system plans ensuring requirement traceability from definition to testing and verification
- Proactively address routine issues, contributing to team goals
- Collaborate closely with the software team to define interfaces, troubleshoot problems, and ensure seamless integration of charging hardware and software
- Analyze test results to identify performance trends and optimization areas in electrical and power systems
- Work with the design team to recommend and implement changes that enhance product performance, durability, and user experience
- Create and maintain vital technical documentation, including schematics, manuals, specifications, and test reports
- As a highly knowledgeable specialist, engage in developing innovative concepts and executing complex tasks effectively.
