Requirements
Must:
- At least 10 years of experience in application development engineering
- Proven track record in designing scalable distributed systems
- Experience working on service-oriented, modular, or microservices-based architectures
- Expertise in building autoscaling and load balancing strategies for high-traffic platforms
- Familiarity with Cloud Architecture and Infrastructure (preferably Google Cloud Platform, AWS)
- Strong skills in API and Application Architecture, including RESTful API Design and Integration Architecture
- Proficient in Backend Engineering using JavaScript, TypeScript, and various frameworks like NestJS and Express
- Knowledge of Streaming and Real-Time Video Systems
- Experience with Data and Storage Technologies, including NoSQL and relational databases
- Comfortable in cross-functional collaboration and vendor management
- Experience in technical debt management and build-vs-buy decisions
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of critical applications to enhance business success
- Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and various departments to achieve shared objectives
- Shape digital strategies by developing applications focused on live commerce and customer experiences
- Optimize infrastructure for live video using technologies like WebRTC and media handling
- Design and maintain APIs and authentication protocols for service frameworks
- Oversee automated deployment pipelines and ensure coding standards are met
- Monitor application performance metrics using tools like New Relic and Google Cloud Monitoring
- Manage vendor relationships and contribute to technical decision-making processes
