Requirements
Must:
- Over 6 years of experience in software engineering, including a minimum of 3 years in integration work
- At least 3 years of experience with virtualization technologies
- Strong proficiency in Embedded C and Python programming languages
- Familiarity with embedded controls software and automated software build tools, such as gcc compiler, gdb debugger, Eclipse, Jenkins, and ETAS INCA
- Competent in MATLAB and Simulink for plant model development and integration, with basic knowledge of additional simulation tools like GT-Power, AMESIM, and CarSim
- Proficient in automotive communication protocols, including CAN, LIN, SPI, and automotive Ethernet
- Knowledge of FMU/FMI standards and SSP processes
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and integration of co-simulation components to meet end-user testing needs
- Develop virtual controller models for various simulations
- Create, maintain, and test virtual controller components, such as HWIO, RTOS, and communication models
- Acquire, develop, and parameterize subsystem models, including sensors, actuators, and ECU behavioral models
- Collaborate with development engineers to grasp new feature requirements, resolve issues, and ensure proper execution
- Partner with System Engineers to define required co-simulation assets based on testing specifications
- Integrate plant and ECU models into a cohesive dynamic virtual environment
- Produce and maintain comprehensive documentation for each release
- Offer support for released simulations and assist with user testing and troubleshooting
- Provide technical support and mentorship to fellow team members
- Guarantee delivery of high-quality co-simulation environments
- Assist with cloud deployment initiatives
