Requirements
Must:
- Proficient with tools such as Python and automation testing methodologies
- Familiar with CAN/Ethernet communication protocols and relevant testing tools
- Skilled in Calibration and/or Validation Development
- Experience with INCA, CANoe, Vector CANalyzer, or Vspy
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience in test automation
- Excellent written and verbal communication capabilities
- Eager to learn and develop professionally while collaborating effectively within a team
- Education: Associates degree in Engineering or Computer Engineering
- Ideally 5 years of experience in embedded or controlled software testing with proprietary tools
Responsibilities
- Enhance and maintain documentation throughout the testing process
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues related to automated tests and controllers
- Proactively identify potential problems and suggest effective solutions
- Generate test results and reports adhering to the highest industry standards
- Adjust calibration and test scripts to align with validation requirements
- Develop and use test scripts and automation techniques
- Utilize AI tools in our testing processes
Description
We are seeking a Test Engineer for a contract opportunity in Markham, Ontario. Our mission is to treat our consultants and clients as we would like to be treated. We offer a hybrid work schedule, requiring three days in the office each week, with Tuesday being mandatory. This role involves executing black box test cases to validate key functions of ADAS controllers and automating test cases using engineering methodologies.
