- Availability to work onsite in Rosemead, CA or Oakland, CA after completing remote training
Responsibilities
- Develop or enhance GIS-enabled web and desktop applications
- Create tools that assist utility operations, asset management, field mobility, or outage communication systems
- Work with spatial data and integrate GIS with enterprise platforms
- Support applications utilizing leading geospatial technologies like Esri ArcGIS, ArcFM, or GE Smallworld
- Collaborate with agile teams to produce critical mapping and spatial solutions
Description
We are excited to offer a unique opportunity for GIS graduates eager to explore the future of geospatial technology and its integration with software development. Our paid training program spans approximately 7 weeks, providing comprehensive instruction in .NET full-stack development, C#, and web development fundamentals. Following this training, you will have the chance to contribute to impactful enterprise-level geospatial projects that benefit utility and infrastructure organizations. We prioritize building strong software foundations, while your GIS background will enhance your understanding of the applications you will develop. The role is based onsite in either Rosemead, CA or Oakland, CA, and offers a pathway into a fulfilling career in geospatial software engineering.
