Requirements

Must:
- I require 3–5 years of experience in technical support, field service, or applications engineering, ideally with test apparatus or industrial products. - I need someone who is capable of troubleshooting software issues on Windows, macOS, iOS, and Android platforms. - The candidate should have experience with resolving connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, USB). - You should feel comfortable diagnosing integration challenges between hardware and software. - A strong analytical mindset and methodical troubleshooting approach are essential. - Familiarity with ticketing systems (NetSuite is preferred, or similar CRM/support systems) is important. - A basic understanding of HVAC systems and their connection to airtightness and performance testing is necessary. - You should be able to read and interpret basic floor plans and building designs. - It's crucial to have some knowledge of airflow measurement concepts (CFM, pressure differentials) and calibration principles. - A background in math, science, physics, or engineering is preferred. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must, as well as a calm and professional demeanor when addressing customer concerns under pressure. - A strong customer service orientation with empathy for field challenges is essential, along with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

- My Senior Technical Support Specialist will act as the primary escalation point for sophisticated technical challenges involving our hardware, software, and testing systems. - You will diagnose complex integration issues with blower door systems, digital manometers, and testing equipment. - Duties include troubleshooting connectivity issues across various platforms and resolving software issues on different operating systems. - You will assist customers in urgent field scenarios, keeping your composure and professionalism throughout. - Providing critical product and application support to a diverse range of customers such as energy auditors, fire protection engineers, HVAC contractors, and building performance professionals is vital. - Documenting recurring issues and solutions in our systems and contributing to knowledge articles, technical guides, and training materials will be part of your role. - Collaboration with the Engineering and Software Development teams on bug reports and firmware updates is essential, along with mentoring support personnel on complex technical matters.
