Requirements
Must:

- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tenant administration and ongoing maintenance responsibilities.
- Proficient in triaging incidents, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and executing break/fix activities under SLA expectations.
- Comfort with documentation and time tracking as a part of daily operational duties.
- Calm, professional communication during high-pressure situations.
- Ability to adopt a proactive approach, preventing issues before they escalate.
- Strong documentation habits to maintain a reliable record of activities.
- Effective prioritization and independent execution skills with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented mindset with readiness to collaborate weekly with leadership on priorities.
- Dependability for critical response coverage within established SLA parameters.
- Experience supporting Azure and On-Prem infrastructure in a business context (cloud, server, and productivity platforms).
- Willingness to be available for on-call support and respond within defined SLAs.
- Strong customer service instincts to effectively assist users.
Responsibilities
- Assist employees and contractors with a professional, positive attitude akin to diplomatic engagement.
- Proactively oversee and maintain the clients Azure environment as well as local servers (VMs, gateways, NICs, storage, etc.) to ensure stable operations.
- Develop and remove Azure or On-prem components as directed, ensuring safe deployment and retirement of systems.
- Address and resolve break/fix tickets related to computing infrastructure, providing quick restoration of services while assisting the Help Desk as necessary.
- Support essential third-party software to ensure smooth operational processes.
- Maintain a strong focus on security, implementing proactive measures to enhance system integrity and interconnectivity.
- Provide provisioning and connectivity assistance to the IT Manager/Systems Administrator, establishing trusted engineering support.
- Manage backup systems and execute data restorations as requested to ensure contingency planning.
- Oversee server OS and application patching according to the Companys monthly update schedule, focusing on security and minimizing downtime (may require weekend and after-hours contributions).
- Keep daily records of tasks in the Companys time and ticketing systems to ensure accurate tracking of efforts.
- Participate in weekly meetings with the Technology Manager and Systems Administrator to align on ongoing priorities and directives.
- Conduct maintenance and management tasks to support the health of all Company Microsoft 365 tenants, ensuring seamless communication across the organization.
- Respond to critical break/fix incidents outside of standard business hours while adhering to Company SLAs.
- Ensure compliance with first engagement SLAs, addressing critical notifications within two hours between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
- Configure and deliver new devices to end users, ensuring they receive equipment worthy of operational needs.
- Assist with compliance actions and documentation as assigned, maintaining thorough and organized records throughout the process.
