Requirements
Must:
- Previous experience in a serving or guest service position is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to multitask and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with food, wine, and beverage service standards is advantageous.
- Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods and lift weights up to 25 lbs.
- Availability for a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Welcome guests with warmth and present menus while explaining menu items and daily specials.
- Accurately record food and beverage orders and input them into the POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a prompt and professional manner.
- Anticipate guests needs, respond promptly, and ensure overall satisfaction during the dining experience.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and bar personnel to ensure precise and smooth order delivery.
- Keep dining areas, side stations, and service zones clean and organized.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and sanitation protocols along with company service standards.
- Process payments, manage cash or credit transactions, and reconcile checks at the end of the shift.
- Assist colleagues by helping with table arrangements, clearing, and restocking as required.
