Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 5-8+ years of hands-on experience with technologies such as Python, Terraform, Ansible, Concourse CI/CD, and Identity Management.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating system internals and administration including filesystems, inodes, system calls, and hardening.
- Knowledge of networking concepts, specifically TCP/IP, routing, DNS, network topologies, and SDN.
- Proficiency in using Terraform to create modules for deploying applications across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Experience with CI/CD technologies and proficient in a scripting or programming language like Bash or Python.
- Understanding of Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles and least privilege concepts.
- Strong Linux OS skills focused on deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Investigation abilities to analyze detailed infrastructure and configurations.
- Experience with logging and log processing in cloud environments.
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow.
- Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems is a plus.
- Ability to debug and enhance code while automating routine tasks is favorable.
- Systematic problem-solving abilities alongside strong communication skills and a proactive approach.
Responsibilities
- Write and modify Terraform scripts based on an existing codebase to deploy and maintain infrastructure across various cloud service providers, while troubleshooting any deployment errors.
- Execute Ansible playbooks for managing customer infrastructure and troubleshoot as needed when errors arise.
- Utilize GitLab to handle multiple repositories for maintaining customer infrastructure and create merge requests for necessary changes.
- Configure, build, and deploy containerized services using technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Analyze traffic flow data between customer and hosted environments to identify and resolve connectivity issues.
- Develop and sustain technical documentation related to network design and system governance.
- Create standard operating procedures, knowledge base articles, technical bulletins, and additional documentation to support infrastructure management.
- Approach all tasks with a focus on security, ensuring that security protocols are foremost in all actions taken.
- Implement monitoring, configuration management, and logging capabilities to manage multi-tenant cloud infrastructure across various cloud service providers.
- Leverage generative AI tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and resource management while adhering to security boundary guidelines.
