Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors or masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 6 years of ETL, development, and/or database architecture experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in writing and optimizing complex SQL queries.
- 2 years of experience in database application development.
- 3 years of professional experience with database technologies and ETL/ELT tools, including scripting.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and maintain data pipelines for both internal and external applications while participating in an Agile/SCRUM engineering team.
- Collaborate extensively with data modeling experts and subject matter specialists following industry best practices.
- Deliver comprehensive solutions to support the entire product life cycle, working with various teams in database development and deployment.
- Investigate new technologies and methodologies to promote innovation.
- Coordinate and communicate with users, developers, and product managers to create and implement solutions that address user needs.
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews, collaborative development, and by sharing best practices.
- Assemble large and complex data sets that fulfill business requirements.
- Develop design patterns, standards, and documentation while working with fellow developers for proper execution.
- Oversee data integration for third-party integrations and core database components.
