Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in Java web application development.
- Proficiency in server-side development using Hibernate, Spring, and RESTful Web Services, including server-side testing with JUnit and Mockito/EasyMock.
- Experience in front-end web application development using Angular, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript, with additional experience in unit and end-to-end testing using Cucumber, Selenium, or Playwright being a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with AWS technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of AI-Assisted Development tools (e.g., Carousel, Copilot, Windsurf AI).
- Demonstrated experience in developing multi-tier web applications.
- Practical experience with Continuous Integration and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
- Knowledge of application servers like JBoss or Tomcat.
- Previous work with build tools like MAVEN and Jenkins is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of Scrum practices and artifacts such as the definition of done and user stories.
- Excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-quality, robust technical solutions that fulfill business needs and align with corporate architectural standards.
- Create thorough unit, integration, and automation tests that meet organizational guidelines.
- Support the troubleshooting and maintenance of existing software applications, while identifying opportunities for enhancements.
- Collaborate with external stakeholders, as necessary, to ensure requirements are met.
- Develop technical models and designs for assigned components.
- Contribute to and influence technological and architectural decisions within the team.
- Participate in the review of designs and code produced by other team members.
- Mentor and elevate the teams performance by recognizing strengths and areas for improvement, implementing suitable coaching techniques.
- Work closely with the Scrum Team and both internal and external stakeholders to guide decision-making and support project or product initiatives.
- Contribute towards the advancement of Agile methodologies within the organization.
