Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of practical experience in DevOps or a related domain, showcasing success in managing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines at scale.
- Comprehensive knowledge of AWS services, with a solid grasp of cloud security, cost management, and best practices.
- Proficient in Infrastructure as Code tools such as CloudFormation and Terraform, with AWS CDK experience considered an advantage.
- Expertise in container technologies like Docker and orchestration platforms such as EKS/ECS.
- Extensive hands-on experience with Jenkins and GitHub Actions, with a thorough understanding of pipeline architecture, optimization, and debugging.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages including Python, Groovy, Shell, and JavaScript, emphasizing the automation of infrastructure management and application deployment.
- Experience in deploying effective monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) to guarantee real-time insights into system health and performance.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating efficiently with diverse global teams while providing technical guidance and maintaining clear documentation.
Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance our Cloud Infrastructure, leading the design, implementation, and upkeep of a scalable, highly available, and cost-effective environment on AWS.
- Advocate for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) through tools like CloudFormation, Terraform, and CDK to secure, automate, and manage infrastructure resources consistently.
- Oversee the deployment, scaling, and administration of containerized applications, ensuring high performance and system reliability.
- Take ownership of the CI/CD pipeline, continuously refining it with tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions to automate workflows related to build, test, and deployment.
- Efficiently manage source code using Git while promoting best practices and streamlined processes across different teams.
- Create advanced automation scripts using Python, Groovy, Shell, and JavaScript to enhance system efficiency by reducing manual efforts and automating intricate workflows.
- Develop and implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to proactively maintain system performance.
- Work collaboratively with R&D teams including developers, architects, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and delivery of new features and updates.
- Spearhead the adoption of security best practices, ensuring adherence to both internal and external standards while fostering improvements in infrastructure and application security.
