Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related discipline
- Over 3 years of experience in AI/ML, data science, or applied AI development
- More than 3 years of experience in software engineering or backend development
- Strong expertise in Python
- Proven experience building production systems beyond experimentation
Responsibilities
- Design and implement production-ready AI/ML systems
- Construct and deploy LLM-powered applications, including RAG, agents, and workflows
- Create evaluation and testing pipelines for AI systems
- Enhance systems for accuracy, latency, and cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate on system architecture and technical decision-making
- Incorporate AI solutions into practical workflows and applications
- Continuously refine systems based on user feedback and performance metrics
Description
We are a forward-thinking company seeking a Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to develop production-grade AI systems that enhance automation, knowledge retrieval, and user-facing tools for large-scale public sector projects. This is a hands-on role, where you will engage in creating impactful AI solutions rather than just prototypes. Our team operates remotely within the U.S., with a requirement for limited onsite attendance, including a two-day onboarding in Annapolis, MD. We offer competitive compensation ranging from $60.00 to $70.00 per hour.
