Requirements
Must:
- Experience with Facilities systems and equipment
- Excellent interpersonal abilities and self-motivation
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelors degree in engineering (preferred)
- 2-3 years of engineering experience related to Facilities/Utilities systems (preferred)
- Experience in a GMP/cGMP regulated production environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities of third-party representatives
- Provide Facilities support on Capital Projects
- Adhere to site specifications for all projects
- Ensure adherence to good engineering and documentation practices
- Troubleshoot issues related to Facilities utilities and systems
- Collect, structure, and communicate operational data to team members
- Oversee investigations and studies
- Utilize CMMS to manage logistics
- Identify and implement temporary and permanent solutions for issues
- Take necessary actions in case of process deviations
- Manage change controls, corrective actions, and periodic reviews
- Monitor documentation for regulatory compliance
- Collaborate with representatives from various departments
- Participate in team meetings to discuss progress and initiatives
- Monitor equipment and systems for performance indicators
- Carry out data entry tasks
- Comprehend and comply with cGMP and SOPs, including safety protocols
- Wear required gowning and PPE for specific activities
- Maintain equipment, systems, and certification records
- Interpret diagrams, drawings, and schematics
- Support utilities improvements and address system issues
- Guide others on SOPs and control documents
- Coordinate activities among support groups
- Analyze data trends to identify root causes and solutions
- Conduct regular audits of SOPs and work instructions
- Approve documentation for equipment and process qualifications
- Draft, review, and update SOPs for maintenance tasks
- Attend cross-departmental meetings for coordination
- Implement corrective and preventative actions across departments
- Engage in cross-functional teams to achieve strategic objectives
- Review technical publications and write related procedures
- Record and report relevant metrics
- Propose improvements in productivity, waste management, quality, and costs
- Contribute input for engineering replacement parts
- Assist in process improvement projects with engineering and management
- Coordinate activities related to qualification
- Create equipment specifications
- Draft and distribute correspondence as needed
- Address inquiries regarding parts and project management
- Oversee small capital projects for timely and budget-compliant execution
- Arrange shutdowns and maintenance intervals
- Provide 24/7 on-call support
- Measure and revise technical drawings
- Review specifications and guidelines as necessary
