Engineer - Software Development

- High School diploma or equivalent; experience in hospitality or a related field - A minimum of one year of progressive experience in hospitality is preferred - Trade school or college coursework in a relevant field is advantageous - Flexibility to work long hours as needed - Ability to lift in excess of 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds regularly - Proficient verbal and written communication skills with employees and guests in a courteous and attentive manner - Effective listening skills to address concerns raised by employees and guests - Strong multitasking abilities and the capacity to prioritize departmental functions - Professional demeanor when interacting with guests and employees - Participation in all mandatory hotel meetings and training sessions - Regular attendance in line with Highgate standards, adapting to hotel scheduling needs - Adherence to grooming and appearance standards, including wearing the required uniform and nametag - Compliance with Highgate standards and regulations for safe and efficient hotel operations - Focus on productivity, recognizing areas for improvement, and assisting in solutions - Capacity to effectively tackle problems, including anticipation and recognition of issues - Ability to assimilate and apply complex information from diverse sources - Willingness to cross-train in various hotel-related areas - Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information - Initiative in anticipating guest or operational needs - Fulfillment of additional duties as assigned by management - Availability to work on weekends mandatory
