Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 2 years experience with a Bachelors degree in a related field; or a Masters degree with no experience; or a High School Diploma with 6 years of relevant experience.
- Basic programming experience in at least one modern language (C++, C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript).
- Good understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and software design.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with debugging tools and initial troubleshooting methods.
- Ability to read and implement requirements and technical documentation effectively.
- Basic exposure to software testing methodologies, including unit and integration testing.
- Fundamental knowledge of Windows or Linux development environments.
- Possession of a valid Secret Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, document, test, and troubleshoot software applications and systems using logical and mathematical approaches.
- Create user interfaces for software applications employing AI code generation tools and traditional programming techniques.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers and equipment designers to plan, design, and develop electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software.
- Assess user requirements and system capabilities to address program objectives, output specifications, data acquisition, programming methods, and system controls.
- Develop operating instructions and participate in the design and development of compilers, assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-structured code adhering to established coding standards.
- Conduct software testing in accordance with established procedures or requirements documentation and rectify defects as necessary.
