Requirements
Must:
- A minimum of 5 years experience in DoD IT systems engineering or cybersecurity roles
- Proficient understanding of RMF, STIGs, and DoD cybersecurity regulations
- Experience in a DevSecOps setting supporting large-scale infrastructures
- Previous involvement with military training systems (e.g., JKO, JLVC, JTSE) and operational exercises
- Knowledge of DoD Zero Trust architecture and relevant cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-207, DoD ZTA strategy)
- Experience with secure systems integration, cloud technologies, and data center operations
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field with 5 years of experience; 3 years with a Masters; or a High School Diploma with 9 years of relevant experience
- IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, or equivalent) compliant with DoD 8570.01-M
- Skilled in using engineering and cybersecurity tools and platforms (e.g., vulnerability scanners, endpoint protection)
- Exceptional analytical, documentation, and troubleshooting capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation and upkeep of comprehensive A&A documentation, including System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
- Input A&A data into the XACTA system on the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System (JWICS)
- Carry out all phases of the NIST RMF process (Categorize, Select, Implement, Assess, Authorize, and Monitor)
- Perform thorough security control evaluations to ensure that technical, operational, and management controls are effectively executed
- Review vulnerability scans (ACAS/Nessus/STIGs) to identify threats and coordinate with the engineering team for remediation efforts

We are seeking a skilled cybersecurity professional to join our team in a hybrid remote role based in Suffolk, VA. This full-time position offers an annual salary between $95,000 and $125,000.
