Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 3 years of demonstrated Level 2 IT support experience, preferably in an MSP or similar fast-paced support setting.
- CompTIA A+ certification is a definite advantage; Network+ or Microsoft certifications are a plus.
- Strong proficiency in hardware troubleshooting, imaging, assembly, and repairs.
- Experience with Apple macOS, including setup, troubleshooting, and integration.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows environments and Microsoft 365.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, including switching, VLANs, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting.
- Exceptional communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly to non-technical clients.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and dependable, treating the Bench operations as if they are your own.
- Valid driver’s license for Ontario.
Responsibilities
- Manage and execute PC and laptop repairs, construction, imaging, upgrades, and process enhancements.
- Diagnose issues in desktops, laptops, and peripherals in both Windows and Apple environments.
- Deliver outstanding phone, remote, and onsite support while maintaining clear and professional communication with clients.
- Set up and manage Microsoft 365 and Azure AD accounts, along with Intune and associated policies.
- Configure and operate networking equipment such as switches, routers, and Wi-Fi beyond basic functionalities.
- Support server-related duties as needed and escalate issues as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate ticketing and documentation, ensuring thorough records of all activities.
- Strive for continuous improvement in desktop support and Bench operations delivery.
