Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Fundamental understanding of security principles
- Excellent documentation and communication abilities
- Relevant security certifications such as Security+ or comparable (preferred)
- Experience with tools for vulnerability management and patch deployment processes (preferred)
- Familiarity with regulatory standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI DSS) (preferred)
- Practical experience assisting in incident response or penetration testing activities (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Assist in the daily operation and monitoring of our information security program
- Support documentation and evidence collection related to security policies
- Execute defined procedures and maintain audit-ready documentation
- Help with incident response and triage processes
- Gather logs, evidence, and construct timelines for incidents
- Aid in vulnerability scans and track remediation actions
- Maintain necessary documentation for the Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M)
- Collaborate on incident reviews and support post-incident activities
- Track physical access badge issuance and revocation
- Participate in periodic access reviews and validate least-privilege access
- Review SIEM alerts following established guidelines
- Assist with the documentation of log reviews and evidence preparation
- Report any suspicious activities according to the Incident Response Plan
