Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Software Engineering
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in implementing and managing large-scale cloud-native environments in Azure (Virtual Machines, Networks, Load Balancers)
- Proficiency in developing automation frameworks and regression test suites using Python and Bash
- Experience with deployment and testing processes using tools like Git, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions
- Familiarity with configuring observability and performance tuning tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, and Azure Monitoring
- Strong troubleshooting skills for production systems, including cloud infrastructure and TCP/IP networking
- Experience working with NoSQL databases, specifically Redis
- Knowledge of scripting languages (Python, Bash, C#) for automation solutions
- Understanding of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and post-incident reviews
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and external stakeholders
Responsibilities
- Handle technical escalations and engage in complex troubleshooting within the Follow-the-Sun support model
- Manage large-scale cloud-native environments in Azure and ensure service reliability
- Develop and implement automation tools to streamline deployment and enhance operational efficiency
- Configure observability tools for performance monitoring and issue detection
- Troubleshoot and manage incidents for critical production systems, focusing on cloud infrastructure and networking
- Collaborate with engineering teams during service-impacting incidents to ensure continuity
- Lead problem management efforts to improve service stability and reliability
- Participate in on-call rotations and provide critical support
- Define and measure key performance metrics to enhance observability and availability
- Oversee technical maintenance and develop specifications for assigned projects
- Conduct capability planning, scale testing, and disaster recovery exercises
- Lead efforts to mitigate complex cluster/database issues on the Redis platform
- Maintain and develop observability frameworks using various monitoring and alerting tools
