Requirements
Must:
- Over 8 years of experience in software engineering with a proven record of delivering high-quality products at scale
- Proficient in backend development using contemporary technologies such as TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and distributed systems
- Knowledgeable in infrastructure, APIs, and the design of scalable systems
- Skilled in transforming high-level product concepts into production-ready solutions
- Familiarity with fast-paced, high-growth work environments
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities, with a talent for mentoring others
- Enthusiastic about developing customer-centric products and addressing intricate challenges
- Preferred: Familiarity with modern data and backend tools like Prisma, Temporal, Kubernetes, ClickHouse, and messaging systems
- Preferred: Experience in AI/LLM-based product development
Responsibilities
- Construct and launch new backend-driven products from inception to completion
- Work collaboratively with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to define the roadmap and technical vision
- Create scalable systems employing current technologies and frameworks
- Assess and incorporate third-party tools, platforms, and APIs to speed up product delivery
- Set engineering standards, best practices, and build scalable architecture
- Aid in the development of infrastructure and ensure system reliability
- Mentor engineers and foster team expansion as the organization grows
