Requirements
Must:
- Active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Over 5 years of professional experience in systems engineering or IT architecture.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring, and maintaining both Windows and Linux operating systems across workstations and servers.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP protocols, and network virtualization.
- Demonstrated experience with system sustainment operations, including backups, database archives, and disaster recovery.
- Experience in conducting growth analysis and architectural planning for enterprise-scale IT environments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive systems engineering and architectural support to enhance the FBIs IT infrastructure.
- Design and document complex virtual and physical system architectures, ensuring all technical documentation remains current.
- Conduct growth analysis across various functional areas to anticipate future infrastructure requirements and mitigate performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain a reliable environment with a mandated system uptime of 99.9% for critical mission functions.
- Provide Tier 4 technical support, acting as the final escalation point for complex system outages and performance challenges.
- Execute hardware and software audits to uphold system integrity, security compliance, and licensing accuracy.
- Oversee system sustainment tasks, including thorough backup operations and database archiving.
