Requirements
Must:
- Active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph is essential for this role.
- Over 8 years of experience in application development or systems engineering.
- Proven expertise in mobile application development, particularly on the Android platform.
- Hands-on knowledge of Amazon Web Services (AWS), especially EC2 and S3, for data integration and system management.
- Established experience in a Systems Engineering position, encompassing requirements gathering and risk assessment.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic team setting with minimal onboarding time.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct operational support to the Sponsor Program Manager and assist in formulating complex technical strategies.
- Convert high-level operational demands into specific technical requirements for engineering teams.
- Create and develop mobile applications for the Android platform, ensuring optimal performance and security measures.
- Support the development and upkeep of iOS applications to promote cross-platform mission functionality.
- Incorporate geospatial mission data into standard enterprise web applications using AWS services like EC2 and S3.
- Offer technical guidance on mobile hardware, operating systems (Android/iOS), and various software types (Commercial, FOSS, and GOTS).
- Oversee program progress by identifying risks, issues, and dependencies to ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct technical meetings with vendors to relay mission needs and assess technical solutions.
- Execute system and database administration tasks, including file and access management within cloud environments.
