Requirements

Must:
- Active Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret (TS) security clearance with current access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) (TS/SCI) - Bachelors degree in engineering with 8 years of relevant experience, or a combination of advanced degree and experience - Experience in system development, configuration, integration, and support efforts; familiarity with DoD systems is preferred - Experience in developing autonomous warfare solutions - Comprehensive understanding of Cloud architecture and integration (e.g., DataBricks, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) - Proficient programming skills in languages such as Python, particularly in developing AI/ML applications - Familiarity with large language models (LLMs) and natural language processing (NLP) - Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes

Responsibilities

- Assist in the execution of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Offices (CDAO) Algorithmic Warfare (AW) AI scaffolding project, crafting processes for Department of War (DoW) teams to create and evaluate their AI/ML models - Develop and sustain scalable AI/ML systems aligned with government cybersecurity requirements - Stay updated on the latest AI/ML advancements and their applicability to government initiatives - Collaborate on the development and integration of AI/ML solutions within existing governmental IT frameworks, enhancing autonomous warfare capabilities - Engage in cross-functional teamwork on CDAOs large language model task force; take part in code assessments, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables - Clearly articulate intricate AI/ML concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders - Generate technical documentation, including system designs, progress reports, and user guides - Ensure AI/ML systems adhere to compliance standards, utilizing NIST guidelines for DoW information assurance
