Requirements
Must:
- I require a minimum of 5 years of experience in penetration testing, particularly within OT/ICS environments.
- You should possess a strong understanding of industrial control systems, including but not limited to Modbus, DNP3, OPC/UA, PROFInet, EtherNet/IP, and BACnet, as well as familiarity with the Purdue Model, ICS protocols, and safety regulations.
- Hands-on experience in evaluating critical infrastructure, SCADA applications, PLC/RTU devices, and OT network architecture is essential.
- You must have demonstrated experience managing full-scope engagements from start to finish.
- Exceptional report-writing capabilities are necessary, especially in providing proof of concept for manual exploitation and detailing replication steps.
- I expect you to be able to lead clients, junior engineers, and cross-functional teams effectively.
- You must be a U.S. citizen and based within the United States.
Responsibilities
- In this role, you will lead OT/ICS penetration tests, conduct vulnerability assessments, and perform security hardening engagements in various environments, including SCADA systems, DCS, MES, HMI, PLCs, RTUs, industrial firewalls, and OT network segmentation.
- You will execute advanced manual penetration testing methodologies against ICS/SCADA systems with a focus on safety and non-disruptive procedures.
- Your role will also involve building and developing Redbot Security’s ICS/SCADA Task Force, including mentoring, training, and creating internal methodologies.
- You will provide leadership regarding testing strategies, documentation, reporting quality, and client communication.
- Collaboration with Redbot’s Red Team, engineering, and project management teams will be essential to ensure seamless execution of testing efforts.
- You will communicate findings clearly and professionally to executive-level audiences.
- You will develop OT security playbooks, testing checklists, scripts, and tools, and provide support during pre-sales engineering discussions when necessary.
