Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in WordPress development
- Extensive familiarity with YOOtheme Pro (beyond basic use)
- Strong proficiency in Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and YOOtheme Essentials, including flexible content structures, repeater fields, relationship fields, JSON syncing, and deployment processes
- Demonstrated ability to build complex directory-style websites featuring custom post types and taxonomies, along with advanced filtering and search mechanisms
- In-depth knowledge of PHP for theme/plugin development, JavaScript for UI interactions and navigation, and HTML/CSS with a focus on responsive design and maintainability
- Experience in customizing or extending page builders/frameworks as needed
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience integrating APIs or third-party data sources into WordPress
- Knowledge of performance optimization strategies (Core Web Vitals, caching methods)
- Familiarity with agency workflows in project execution
- Understanding of technical SEO requirements within WordPress builds
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced WordPress websites utilizing YOOtheme Pro
- Create and oversee Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) setups with YOOtheme Essentials, focusing on flexible content layouts and reusable components
- Design and execute intricate directory structures including custom post types, taxonomies, relationships, filtering, and search functionalities
- Implement custom features when native solutions or plugins are inadequate
- Diagnose and resolve complex challenges across themes, plugins, and hosting environments
- Partner with internal designers and strategists to convert UX/UI concepts into efficient builds
- Enhance and optimize mobile navigation systems, ensuring complex menu logic and responsive functionality
- Produce clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Improve performance, accessibility, and SEO-related technical aspects
- Document methodologies and decisions made while developing reusable systems
Description
