Requirements
Must:
- Minimum of 10 years experience in Software Development / General Engineering
- At least 5 years of experience with complex SQL and relational databases
- 5 years of experience in maintaining and configuring Spring Boot / Java applications
- Knowledge of REST, authentication frameworks (Okta, OIDC), and Servlet filters
- A minimum of 2 years experience with GraphQL
- A minimum of 2 years experience with React
- Experience with Next.js is highly desirable
- Familiarity with configuring and deploying applications to AWS is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable code
Responsibilities
- Design, create, and sustain web applications utilizing Ruby on Rails and associated technologies
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow developers to establish project requirements and specifications
- Develop RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to improve application capabilities
- Perform unit testing and debugging to guarantee optimal application performance and reliability
- Engage in code reviews to uphold code quality and foster team knowledge sharing
- Stay informed about new technologies and industry trends to enhance development practices
- Contribute to designing database schemas and optimize SQL queries for performance with databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL
- Function within Agile methodologies to ensure timely project delivery while adjusting to evolving requirements
