Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a similar field.
- Over 3 years of experience in data analysis, emphasizing automation and data integration.
- Expertise in Azure Data Factory and various automation tools.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, capable of optimizing code and enhancing query performance.
- Knowledge of PHI and HIPAA regulations with experience handling sensitive data.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, showcasing strong time management and organizational abilities.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, effectively engaging in a team-based environment.
- Competence in managing multiple responsibilities and setting priorities in a fast-paced atmosphere.
- Preferred experience with AWS and other cloud services, such as Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, or Azure Databricks.
- Familiarity with data visualization and reporting tools, like Power BI or Tableau.
- Relevant certifications in Azure or associated technologies.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement automated workflows using Azure Data Factory and related tools to enhance data import and processing.
- Design, construct, and maintain efficient data pipelines to ensure smooth data flow and integration across the department.
- Review, analyze, and optimize SQL code to boost performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with colleagues to pinpoint areas for improvement and apply best practices in SQL coding.
- Address ad hoc report requests by collecting requirements, extracting, analyzing data, and providing actionable insights for stakeholders.
- Ensure that reports are accurate, timely, and specifically tailored to meet the requestors needs.
- Provide support to colleagues with daily data operations, troubleshooting issues, and offering guidance on data-related concerns.
- Act as a resource for data inquiries and contribute to ongoing refinement of data processes.
- Guarantee that all data handling and processing complies with PHI and HIPAA regulations.
- Promote data privacy and security best practices within the organization, assisting in the creation of guidelines to protect sensitive information.
