Senior IT auditor

- Collaborate with key functional and technical client personnel and other team members to conduct IT controls assessments and audit activities - Review IT policies and procedures, performing Process Walkthroughs to identify and document relevant systems, IT general controls, and IT application controls - Contribute to the annual risk assessment and planning process - Identify control deficiencies, evaluate their implications, and discuss practical remediation strategies with management - Gather supporting client documentation, such as system security plans and vulnerability assessment reports - Align current IT controls and supporting documents with a predetermined IT Controls Set - Design and implement IT controls test plans to evaluate (test) the design and effectiveness of current IT controls and supporting documents against the IT Controls Set - Produce and sustain detailed work papers documenting control test activities and outcomes, including identifying and outlining IT internal control deficiencies while providing clear recommendations to management for addressing these issues - Conduct audits by analyzing, testing, and evaluating the organizations control environment using a mix of traditional sampling techniques and automated processes - Document audit procedures and findings, organizing and referencing work papers as necessary
