Requirements
Must:
- Proficiency in Python programming language
- Experience in software engineering, particularly in core system development
- Familiarity with testing frameworks, such as pytest
- Ability to write structured and readable code
- Knowledge of logging, metrics, and measurement practices
- Understanding of constraints and rules-based systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Effective collaboration and communication skills
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of the primary Python codebase by organizing, enhancing, and ensuring its readability
- Develop the execution loop, including action proposal, validation against constraints, execution in the simulated environment, and result logging
- Ensure system reliability through comprehensive testing, including deterministic runs and regression testing
- Create measurement and auditability systems with structured logs, run artifacts, and metrics for performance comparison
- Integrate necessary components, such as memory storage and interface APIs, as required
- Collaborate closely with the founder and research lead to clarify requirements, make informed engineering decisions, and document processes
