Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a relevant STEM field with at least 2 years of pertinent experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented software design and programming using C or C++
- Familiarity with Python or MATLAB for data evaluation
- Experience with modeling or simulating physical systems
- Background in modeling, simulation, statistics, and analysis for engineering solutions
- Capacity to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret Security Clearance, requiring U.S. citizenship
Responsibilities
- Develop high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance evaluation, and flight testing support
- Oversee the creation and implementation of modeling solutions while conducting trade studies and assessing system performance
- Collaborate within a team structure, taking direction from supervisors and guiding other team members
- Work alongside Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and other personnel to execute simulation tasks efficiently
- Engage in varied projects to devise and develop innovative approaches and solutions throughout the product lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Provide technical insights for simulation products and assist Senior Modeling Engineers with detailed planning and potential interaction with government entities as an authority on simulation products
