Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Physics, Math, or other related engineering disciplines with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience with hardware systems integration.
- Familiarity with testing in Environmental Test Facilities.
- Engineering experience in missile system testing, including:
- Guidance Section testing
- Rate Table testing
- Mechatronics hardware integration
- Troubleshooting of missile hardware.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, and/or LabVIEW tools.
Responsibilities
- Conduct integration, verification, and field qualification testing to verify that the system meets specifications/requirements.
- Engage in data collection activities, analyze data elements, and generate detailed reports of findings.
- Create and modify documentation to support reviews related to formal testing including Test Readiness Review (TRR), Consent to Ship (CTS), and Test Data Review (TDR) packages.
- Assist in the development of system-level and sub-system level tests, outlining test objectives, methodologies, and detailed flight test plans.
- Support field testing with occasional travel, typically lasting one to two weeks.
- Lead a team of cross-functional engineers on various design test and analysis projects.
- Develop test plans and procedures based on military standard documents and program performance specifications.
