Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Proficiency in C, C++, or Java
- Up to 12 months of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships)
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance
- Must be a U.S. citizen to qualify for security clearance
- Knowledge of data structures and algorithms, systems software design, operating systems and architectures (preferred)
- Familiarity with assembly and C/C++ programming, as well as structured programming concepts (preferred)
- Understanding of object-oriented design and Unified Modeling Language (preferred)
- Experience with low-level coding for microcontrollers, Arduino, or Raspberry PI (preferred)
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written (preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Support the requirements, design, development, and testing of real-time embedded software, application software, and tools
- Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions
- Engage in internal reviews of software components and systems
- Collaborate with project managers and fellow engineers
- Tackle defined problems with specific scope, schedule, and expectations
- Adhere to established development practices and ensure proper configuration management of software products
