Requirements
Must:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required along with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience with systems software, hardware, requirements, integration, and testing
- Proficiency in developing scripts and functions using MATLAB
- Desired familiarity with DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo, or similar digital engineering tools
- Exposure to model-based engineering practices
- Experience in managing and developing requirements
- Knowledge in programming languages such as C++ or Python
- Experience generating technical documentation like test plans and procedures
- Background in working within integration labs or test facilities as well as field support
- Ability to evaluate systems through simulated environments
- Experience interfacing with both internal teams and external clients
Responsibilities
- Engage in core systems engineering by developing requirements, algorithms, operational concepts, and defining system interfaces
- Oversee testing initiatives by crafting and executing test plans, procedures, and verification documentation for both simulated and real environments
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system-related challenges through thorough data analysis and debugging
- Create and run models to forecast system performance and aid in verification and validation processes
- Integrate hardware and software components into tactical systems, assessing their efficiency and impact
- Produce integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, and verify requirements while communicating results effectively to leadership and stakeholders
- Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to guarantee optimal system functionality and requirements verification
- Present technical insights and resolutions to leadership and customers in a comprehensible manner
- Support mission execution by traveling up to 20% to various locations, including local RTX facilities, test sites, vendor establishments, and customer sites
