Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with at least 5 years of relevant experience
- Background in signal processing within the EO/IR domain
- Proficient in C programming, or familiar with Object-Oriented Programming languages such as C++, C#, or Java
- Experience in algorithm design, implementation, testing, and optimization
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Interim Secret U.S. government issued Security Clearance prior to the start date; U.S. citizenship required.
Responsibilities
- Act as an experienced professional with advanced signal processing knowledge to support the development and completion of complex missile systems program goals
- Utilize and modify simulations for the design, prototyping, integration, testing, and performance evaluation of signal processing algorithms and models
- Engage in engineering lab settings to verify and validate sensor models and algorithm performance in alignment with requirements
- Focus on integrating algorithms into hardware and assist in all development phases from program initiation to live-fire testing, supporting design and peer reviews, and technical presentations to both internal and external stakeholders
- Share expertise and guidance to mentor colleagues.
