Requirements

Must:
- A degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. - Proficiency in at least one technical domain such as Guidance, Navigation, and Control, Orbital Mechanics, Mission Planning, or Performance Analysis. - Familiarity with programming languages including Python, MATLAB, and/or C++, as well as experience in both Windows and Linux environments. - Knowledge in areas such as System performance, CONOPS, Algorithms and signal processing, or Modeling and simulation (i.e., 6-DOF). - An active and transferable Top Secret security clearance issued by the U.S. government is mandatory before the start date. U.S. citizenship is required for eligibility for a security clearance.

Responsibilities

- Conduct a combination of vehicle design, system sizing, mission performance analysis, and trajectory optimization. - Evaluate notional missions and hardware for feasibility, collaborating with engineers across various disciplines to enhance models and understand performance factors. - Leverage grid computing infrastructure for the generation and analysis of extensive datasets. - Create visual representations of intricate systems and mission CONOPs using STK or similar software tools. - Collaborate with product line management and clients to ensure alignment. - Work alongside program and leadership teams to formulate concepts and develop technologies for new business initiatives, including opportunities for IRAD funding and intellectual property disclosures. - Involve in mission planning application software development and testing. - Be prepared to obtain special program access after commencement of employment.
