Requirements
Must:
- Typically requires a Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM area and at least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in GNC, Signal Processing, and/or Modeling/Simulation.
- Engineering expertise in missile systems applications, which may include:
- Digital and/or modern control systems
- Dynamics
- Kalman filter design
- Monte Carlo analysis
- Development/simulation of physical systems
- Signal processing
- Verification and validation
- System-level performance evaluations
- GPS/INS navigation systems, sensors, and algorithms
- Assured Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (APNT) systems for GPS-degraded environments.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design.
- Familiarity with GNC and/or Signal Processing algorithms in simulation or physical settings.
- Leadership experience in a technical or functional role within an engineering context.
- Must be able to obtain an Interim Secret U.S. government-issued Security Clearance prior to the start date, as U.S. citizenship is required for clearance eligibility.
Responsibilities
- Develop, integrate, and test embedded tactical missile flight code.
- Define and conduct system-level performance studies and analyses to guide the development and integration of new capabilities or enhance existing ones.
- Operate within an agile framework to lead the formulation of backlogs, plans, and performance metrics.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to assist the program in training new engineers for efficient execution.
- Conduct missile performance analyses, including model development, system optimization, and Monte Carlo assessments considering expected disturbances.
