Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Proficiency in object-oriented software design and programming in C or C++
- Experience utilizing Python or MATLAB for data analysis
- Skilled in modeling or simulating physical systems
- Background in modeling, simulation, statistics, or analysis for existing or proposed engineering solutions
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret Security Clearance prior to starting, with U.S. citizenship being a requirement
Responsibilities
- Develop high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design, performance assessment, and flight test support
- Create and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies and evaluate both system and subsystem performance
- Collaborate within a team environment, taking input from supervisors and providing guidance to peers
- Partner with Guidance, Navigation & Control (GNC), Signal Processing, and other performance personnel to execute simulation activities as per project schedules
- Engage in various projects, identify and implement strategies and solutions, while offering guidance throughout the product lifecycle from concept to deployment
- Provide technical expertise for simulation products related to specific programs and assist Senior Modeling Engineers in preparing detailed plans, possibly coordinating with government personnel regarding simulation products
