Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Proven experience in the development or operations of Satellite Ground Systems.
- Familiarity with ground station and satellite fields including terrestrial data networking, command and telemetry, launch operations, flight dynamics, mission planning, and on-orbit operations.
- Experience in Agile development settings and participation in product teams.
- Ability to maintain a system-level perspective while managing detailed design and implementation efforts.
- Active and transferable U.S. government-issued DOD TS/SCI security clearance required before starting; U.S. citizenship is necessary as only U.S. citizens qualify for a security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Implement Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) techniques to break down and fulfill customer objectives into actionable system requirements and designs.
- Collaborate within an Agile product team to produce valuable work products that achieve program goals.
- Define and manage system interfaces to guarantee seamless integration and coherence with the overall system architecture.
- Maintain a systems-level viewpoint to focus on operational end goals throughout program execution.
- Engage actively in working groups, technical discussions, and collaboration sessions with customers, industry partners, and internal stakeholders to align objectives and solutions.
- Assist in the creation and delivery of systems engineering documents including requirements, architecture, models, and design papers.
- Carry out work in a closed area laboratory located in Aurora, Colorado.
