Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree with at least 3 years of experience.
- Proficiency in developing and integrating software applications using languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, or Visual Basic.
- Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools for troubleshooting software and ensuring product integrity.
- Familiarity with Windows Operating System and Microsoft Visual Studio is essential.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship is a prerequisite for security clearance.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate object-oriented software applications utilizing C# and C++ within Microsoft Visual Studio on a Windows OS.
- Manage multiple software engineering tasks simultaneously while prioritizing effectively.
- Troubleshoot software issues and test equipment instrumentation to ensure functionality.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Create and specify requirements for software products based on organizational needs.
