Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor of Science Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) is typically required
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the field
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Java
- Experience with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps tools, including CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Jenkins
- Capability to lead teams and tackle complex technical challenges
- U.S. citizenship is mandatory to obtain a Secret security clearance after the start date
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver real-time software for NASAMS, encompassing Detect, Decide, Engage, and Destroy functionalities
- Create solutions for target acquisition, threat evaluations, missile launches, and other vital operations
- Maintain and deploy intricate software in an Agile/DevSecOps environment, ensuring secure, high-quality, high-frequency releases
- Mentor junior engineers to encourage technical growth and a collaborative atmosphere
- Engage in software component reviews to guarantee quality and adherence to program specifications
- Contribute to testing frameworks and CI/CD practices for efficient software validation and deployment
- Address problems within the defined scope and ensure smooth integration of software with NASAMS hardware and systems
